Position Summary

ACCOUNTANT II is responsible for a variety of routine and some non-routine clerical and accounting functions in accordance with standard procedures in one or more of the following areas: general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable or related financial area; including the cash position statement, the bank accounts reconcilement, and posts statistical and balances to the general or subsidiary ledgers as required.

This position is responsible for and compiles segments of the monthly closings, and prepares client requested work papers for external parties in the preparation of the annual financial report and Medicare cost report; including the maintenance of the chart of accounts, report writers used in the compilation of financial statements and key performance indexes of the organization, and general ledger Dictionaries. This position is responsible for the monthly distribution of reports and roll-up of the management reporting system and is proactive in contacting other departments and/or outside agencies to resolve problems when necessary. This is a full-time position.

Education & Experience

An Associate’s in accounting or related field, or any combination of education with 3 to 5 years of experience in related field.
